Who Are You?
I’ve decided that I want a certain degree of anonymity so the moniker -kf will have to suffice for you seekers out there. I currently live in southeastern Indiana in a small town called Bright. The town is an ironic piece of 21st century Americana in that it has no post office but a McDonalds.
I am a Linux/UNIX enthusiast who enjoys blogging on the same, as well as computer hardware, travel, local events, politics, and so forth. I currently hold CompTIA Linux+ and iNet+ certifications and am interested in obtaining my A+, MCSE, and RHCT certifications in the near future.
Why “Dawn @ ~366 Mhz” ?
The name of this blog comes from the fact that my first computer had a Cyrix MII processor that was advertised at 366 Mhz but ran significantly slower. When I first became introduced to the PC and the Internet, I would often stay up until the sun came up surfing the net or chatting to people from across America and the world. The name is a humorous tribute to my earlier years when 32 MB of PC-100 RAM was plenty

Whatever I want it to be. Right now, that is Linux/UNIX, politics, local events, and related areas.
Why Are You So Mean?
There are ten million blogs out there by ten million idiots who think they are instant experts on politics, economics, or some other topic. Of those ten million, nine point nine million are written by decent, hard-working people. The other hundred thousand, like DailyKos or New Republic, are written by pestilent individuals who can only be dealt with by ridicule and caustic humor. When someone takes it upon themselves to slime the US military, they deserve nothing but mocking scorn and contempt.
Why Do You Want to Be Anonymous?
Because my opinions are mine alone and do not reflect my employer, place of worship, or educational institution. It is better for the “innocent” if I remain at least somewhat anonymous. Plus, I don’t want a potential future employer Googling me and finding out I may have said his company sucks.
Are You A Republican?
No. I support them when I think they are right, but I prefer the platform of the Constitution Party.

The fact that you hate Windows ME makes you move up the common sense ladder for me. I would also have to agree with statements about the ten million idiots on the internet.

Hi, I am working in Oregon trying to get the Catholics to be Catholic. Chuck Currie is part of Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon and very closely involved with Catherine Willett/Cat Willett… a bi ssexual gal who was hired as Justice and Peace director while the pro-life part is only anti war.etc..and she seems to be a darling at the Archdpdx. Her dad Ken Willett is big in the Archdpdx and Mary Jo Tully the Chancellor is a wackjob from Chicago, as is the Archbishop John Vlazy. I have been banished from the Catholic Women’s group and was removed from the Pastoral Center when asking about the pro sex education education pushed on the kids. They are part of the Saul Alinsky party and Cardinal Bernardin (RIP) philosophy of killing children adn letting homosexuals rule. So I need any information that you can give me on anything…we are trying to get Christ back in the church in Oregon…it is a hard job and we have many protestants praying for us, they know what we’re up against.
