More Chuck Currie Whining

March 25, 2008

As well all know, and Chuck Currie feels it is his duty to remind us, the four thousandth service member in the US military has been killed in Iraq. I don’t think there is anyone who doesn’t wish these four thousand souls could be back with their families in the world of the living right now other than those they died fighting. There are four thousand empty places at the breakfast table every morning. Four thousand beds that have an empty place in them at night. A thousand dead insurgents can’t replace one fallen American soldier. Every drop of American blood that has been spilled is unquestionably precious.

But it wasn’t, as the liberal hacks would have you believe, in vain.

Evidently if you are a dove, the measure of the merits of a war are how many people are killed. If that is the case, every military conflict the US has been involved in has been an abject failure. Whether it was fighting for independence from Britain or fighting to save Britain and Europe from Fascism two hundred years later, evidently the US is unable to fight a war to the liberal’s satisfaction.

Considering that the claims of Saddam’s alignment with terrorism have beenlargely vindicated, that Saddam and his two sons were the terror of the majority of the population as they raped and killed as they wished without restraint or remorse, and considering that al Qaeda has been unable to launch a major attack against American interests in the pastsix and a half years, I think we can take at least a little bit of pride in what we’ve done.

Has it been perfect? Of course not. Have we had sturggles to overcome? Certainly. Have we suffered losses too grievous to mention? It would be utter dishonesty to deny this fact. On the other hand, the alternative of allowing Islamofascism to overwhelm the globe is unacceptable. Chuck Currie may wax eloquently on the benefits of peace, but he won’t have any such luxury under a caliphate.

The War in Iraq: Why the Media Isn’t Saying Much

March 24, 2008

In a nutshell, the silence of the mainstream media is explained by the fact that the surge is working, the Iraqis have turned against al Qaeda in number, and 600,000 pages of documentation that expose the deposed regime of Saddam Hussein as aiding terrorism. We’ve heard the liberal party line about Saddam having no involvement whatsoever with al Qaeda, but it seems the truth is a little bit different from the drivel they would have us accept.

Preemption has clearly been vindicated. While much work remains to be done in Iraq, the government is beginning to show signs of self-sustainability. As the Iraqis take more and more ownership over their affairs, we can begin removing our personnel.

All of the anti-war marches, protests, and attempts at demoralizing our troops will crystalize as abject failures. Our military has done superbly despite those here at home who have sold them out for political gain *cough* Murtha* cough Henry Reid * cough cough.

Chuck Currie Likes Radical Islam

February 18, 2008

This should come to no surprise to most of us. Chuck Currie is clearly a delusional individual, however the boldness with which he expresses his delusion seems to know no limits. I speak with regards to his comments regarding Lindsey Graham’s call for a President who can defeat radical Islam:

Speak for yourself, Senator. As a person of faith, I want a president who engages in diplomacy and dialogue before launching preemptive wars. I want a president who knows that our national security depends on the health of our planet and therefore puts climate change at the top of any international agenda. I want a president who cares that tens of thousands of children die each month from hunger…in dark places that are breeding grounds for those who would use violence to promote their goals.  I want a president who won’t compromise our moral values in the name of war.  Senator, I want a president who will work to reconcile Christians, Muslims and Jews the world over.  Like the Vatican and the World Council of Churches, I want a president who will end this war and bring our troops home.

Chuck, the sooner you face reality, the better. Radical Muslims want to kill you, your family, and everyone you care about. They care nothing about your flowery visions of the future and they care nothing about the Vatican or the World Concil of Churches except how they either force them to convert to Islam or be burned to the ground.

Al Qaeda is willing to burn people alive, train children to be suicide bombers, and use Mosques as centers of operation against American forces. There is no diplomacy. There is no “reconciliation.”

I know that when I was little and I first learned that the world isnt fair it took me a little while to accept that. You still seem to be having some coping issues. Until you can get a handle on it, please do us a favor and keep your idyllic fantasies to yourself. They are a waste of electrons in cyberspace, they weaken the resolution of others to continue to oppose terrorism, and they are treasonous.

Thanks!

Anti-war activists get owned in Olympia.

November 12, 2007

Evidently the anti-war movement decided that this cold November weekend was a great one in which to block the movement of military equipment at the port city of Olympia, Washington. Fortunately, law enforcement had other things in mind. The leftist scumbags were herded up and arrested after being subdued with batons and pepper spray.

Neighboring Oregon should take heed on how to deal with insurrectionists like these. Portland particularly has an infestation of these issues. If Oregon wants to raise taxes for something, maybe it should do so to build a prison for these criminals who are actively engaged in  subverting the war effort.

Kudos to the riot response team in Olympia. If anything, you showed too much restraint.

Dennis Kucinich wants some attention

November 6, 2007

As if the idea to impeach Dick Cheney were somehow a new one, Dennis Kucinich is promising to bring a measure to the floor that would call for impeachment proceedings against Dick Cheney. I have to say I am looking very much forward to it. With support for what Congress is doing at an all time low, it became obvious even to the Democrats that they needed to somehow show they weren’t sitting on their lard-butts doing nothing.

Rather than tackle such issues as energy dependence, our insecure borders, balancing the budget, or something similiarly useless and irrelevant to the American people, the impeachment of Dick Cheney, who has not been reasonably implicated in ANY crime, has become the paramount issue. Yes Kucinich, way to look out for your constituents.

Of course, Kucinich is no stranger to the idiotic. This is the same man who wanted to create a “Department of Peace”, ban handguns, end the death penalty and “restore rural communities and family farms” (i.e. pay farmers not to grow anything at the expense of the American tax payer.)

I don’t know what is wrong with the state of Ohio- my wife is a Buckeye and is for the most part normal. On the other hand, I know exactly what is wrong with Ohio, the people of that fair state have come to tolerate liberal trash like Kucinich for too long.

The Republican party should most certainly send Kucinich a Christmas card this year for being such an aid to them. After Kucinich loses his bid to impeach the President miserably, and after the Democrats finish fighting over who was supposed to keep Kucinich locked in the bathroom when Congress was in session, the American people will be ready to run these jokers out of town on a rail.

The war in Iraq is going much better and the major threat to the American economy is not unemployment, but high gas prices. While there is still much to be done to improve things, such as building a few more Gitmos, clusterbombing Iran, and capturing Osama bin Laden and executing him most cruelly, the ranting of disruptive elements such as MoveOn.org and Dennis Kucinich are falling on the ears of those who are beginning to know better.

But please, Mr. Kucinich. When your attempt at impeaching Dick Cheney fails, you are most free to move to a cabin in the woods up in New England and stay away from politics (and the public) for the rest of your life. You’d look good as a bearded woodsman!

More Religious Leftists Carted Off to Jail (Where they Belong)

October 13, 2007

Rev. John Thomas and Linda Jaramillo were arrested for disobeying three seperate orders to leave a no-protest zone in front of the White House. Video here.

I don’t know what part of obeying the law the Religious Left doesn’t get. I am also amazed at how little they seem to comprehend the fact that while the American people may be weary of war and have cause for disputing how it has been waged, the majority of our people support our troops and are unwilling to pull out prematurely.

While I am certain their intentions are certainly noble, or rather, they believe their intentions are noble, they are toxic members of our society and need to be contained. They seek to weaken our resolve to combat terror, subvert our military, and bring shame to those who have fought against terrorist.

Make no mistake. While the immediate context of Iraq (and to a lesser extent Iran) is the clearest, the antiwar movement is by and large opposed to warfare in toto. To them, it is a responsible government that refuses to defend itself or its people against killers and thugs like al Qaeda. In their convoluted logic, war for any reason is a noli me tangere and our military is a waste of resources.

What is left to do? Imprison them? Put them on trial for treason? What do you do with puerile and clearly out of touch religious mongrels who impugn our military and the cause of the war on terror? You cannot talk to them as reasonable folk. They cannot be persuaded of the dangers of letting terrorists roam free and alive. They would allow the flames to overtake us.

The only thing to do with them is to remove their ability to advance their cause. Blacklist them, their churches, and their civic organizations. Label them as the moralistic cowards they are who use religion to advance their pacifists goals. The federal government should sue them for the damage created by the propaganda they generate and distribute.

The First Amendment ends when it comes to sedition. When religious leaders use their pulpits to encourage men and women to refuse military service, desert, or otherwise become disloyal, the First Amendment is no longer the issue.

The hardest part of the matter is where to make prison space for all of these whackjobs.

I *Heart* The Conservative Voice

October 6, 2007

In particular, their article regarding San Francisco’s Quixotic campaign against Michael Savage’s right to free speech.

The author makes an excellent point about terrorism:

Though the September 11th attack brought terrorism to the forefront of the public’s attention, it also created the impression that in order to qualify for such a designation that the act in question had to involve massive loss of life and a catastrophic destruction of property. For since then, it seems officials simply refuse to apply the label to incidents smaller in scale such as when a lunatic shot up an Israeli ticket counter at an LA airport on July 4, 2002.

It use to be taught and accepted that terrorism was the use or threat of violence to achieve political ends. Though the only ones threatened with actual bodily harm are the hunger strikers themselves, if those threatening to do themselves harm think we have some kind of ethical obligation to meet their demands, how is this all that different than what the terrorists expect if liberals claim their is no distinction between the harm inflicted upon the innocent and the harm fanatics might inflict upon themselves?

Clearly, the leftists are guilty of employing terroristic methods against the government and its people. While they do not resort to physical acts of violence against other people, they employ such tactics as hunger strikes to demoralize the American people with regard to immigration enforcement. While less bloody than using guns or bombs, it is equally insidious.

Perhaps even more pernicious is the Religious Left’s use of fasting, traditionally adhered to among Christians for spiritual edification and  devotional purposes, as a means of making politically charged statements. One such example is mentioned by Chris Tessone at Even the Devils Believe. His post links to InterfaithFast.org, a leftist religious organization calling for an end to the war in Iraq.

Not that this is by any means an unworthy goal. I too want to see the war in Iraq come to an end with an American victory, a demolished al Qaeda, and a Gulf region that comes to know that America means business every time we intervene in that area.  No more, no less.

Ian Lynch is a Traitor

October 4, 2007

Author at Culture Dove, the one stop shopping center for pacifists and cowards everywhere, Ian Lynch is now openly advocating on Chuck Currie’s blog that American soldiers in Iraq refuse their orders to engage the enemy.

Perhaps we need to leave troops in Iraq with a no-shoot order, simply there to help but not kill, understanding they may need to offer their lives. I can’t imagine our government every [sic] instituting such a policy, but it would be in keeping with the doctrine of the Christian church for the first three centuries (soldiers who became Christians were instructed not to kill).

This shows how far out of touch with reality leftists are. They expect the average American soldier to go into a firestorm with their hands tied and under orders to not fire on their enemies. Ian Lynch is clearly a subversive member of a small but vocal pacifist elite. They bear watching, because it is these sort who take part in sabotage, propaganda, and espionage. They seek to weaken the hands of our military personnel under the banner of theology, aiding our enemies at home and abroad.

Lynch needs to be interred in Guantanamo for a couple years for some serious rehabilitation. He and Chuck Currie can share a cell.

Chuck Currie: Reach Out to Iran

September 25, 2007

Perhaps churches here in the United States should be reaching out to religious leaders in Iran and attempt to set-up a system of exchanges with a twin goal of building relationships between Iranians and Americans and a long-term goal of bringing reconciliation between our two nations. Maybe religious people have the potential to do something great in this area.

The above is a citation from Chuck Currie’s glowing recommendations regarding how we ought to deal with Iran. While Iran supplies arms and logistical support to Iraqi insurgents that people like my brother-in-law are charged with fighting, while they kidnap British sailors in Iraqi waters and hold them hostage, and while they build a nuclear arsenal, Chuck Currie suggests we get warm and fuzzy with them.

What is more, he calls for the church to take part in this little lovefest. Yes, that it definitely what the church should be doing… participating in clearly subversive activity. Thanks for clearing that up Chuck!
